TRA Gallery was founded in April, 2005, aiming at promoting Chinese contemporary art and international exchanges. Our gallery has held a number of exhibitions home and abroad, many of them with great influence. We have invited internationally celebrated curators to the exhibitions: "No Name": A Tragic Avant-garde History (including 15 members such as Zhao Wenliang, Yang Yushu, Li Shan, Zhang Wei, Ma Kelu, etc.) is curated by Gao Minglu; Casino – an extreme art experiment (an exhibition of photography installation, multimedia, and performance art by Wang Guofeng, Liu Jin, Xu Changchang etc.) is curated by Huangdu; Overlapping Shadows – Contemporary Sculpture Exhibition of Three Artists (Bao Pao, Sui Jianguo and Qin Ga) is curated by Wang Mingxian; the U.S. and US – Three Friends in New York（an exhibition of art works in 1990s by Chen Danqing, Ma Kelu and Feng Lianghong) is curated by Chen Danqing; Feng Lianghong Solo Exhibitions is academically directed by Liu Xiaodong and Chen Danqing; Wang Peng Photography Exhibition is academically directed by Gao Minglu; Tong Yan Ru'Nan Solo Exhibition is academically directed by Xu Jiang and Huang Du and Wang Lin.
